250g rolled oats
100g soft dates (medjool are best, if your dates are not soft, soak them for 10 minutes in warm water then drain before using)
75g RAW Organic Cacao Brazil Nut Spread
120g RAW Organic Acacia Flower honey
10g raw cacao powder
Pinch of salt
40g ground flaxseed
45g RAW Organic Black Chia Seeds
To decorate (optional):
A handful of pine nuts
Prepare an 8 x 8 tin by lining it with cling film, or use a silicon one for easy removal.
Put the oats into a food processor and blend to a fine flour.
Add the dates, banana, nut spread, honey, cacao and salt and blend again.
Add the flaxseed and chia seeds and blend again until everything is combined.
Spoon the mixture into your prepared tin and press down with the back of a spoon to make the surface even. It may help to wet the spoon with a touch of water to prevent the mixture sticking to it. Leave to set in the fridge for an hour minimum or overnight.
Use a sharp knife to cut into 9 squares.
Decorate with pine nuts if desired.
